On the Road in Music City

As a photographer, I often have to travel for my job. This week I am on the road in Nashville, TN to shoot the cover of Tennessee Trucking News.

When traveling, not always are my accommodations glamorous or my destination desirable. But if you have to be on the road, Nashville is a great place to be. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The people are friendly. The food is good. And the music is phenomenal. You can duck into any bar or restaurant and find a very talented musician playing thought provoking original music or covering country music classics, sometimes better than the stars who made them famous.

This trip I'm staying at the Hotel Indigo which is a quaint boutique hotel on Union St. Hardwood floors in the guest rooms and great live music in the bar each night.

I hope I find myself traveling to Nashville again very soon.
